  1. Title: Paparazzi Princess

    Rating: 4

The book was amazing. The plot was amusing. I love how Kaitlyn, the main character, was happy to make things better for her in the end. It disappointed me how she would never really tell people what she really wanted until she had a panic attack. Some parts of the book made me a bit teary, and some other parts didn't interest me as much. But overall, the book was amazing, and I loved it.

    Rating: 4
I gave it a 4 because it's the kind of books that I like. I liked the powers of the girl in the book. I really liked the love of the girl and the boy. I also like how this story somehow took place back in the past. What I didn't like was the fact that the boy keep pushing her to what she didn't want to do yet. Other than that it was a great book.

Title: Three Cups Of Tea by Greg Mortenson/ David Oliver Relim
    Rating: 4
Three cups of Tea is must to read book because it really shows the reality of what's happening in Pakistan and Afghanistan. After the failed climbing expedition on Mount Everst Greg Mortenson ends up in a rural Pakistani village called Korphe. Days later he promises the village to build them a school after seeing that what the children need is education. Throughout the period of ten years he builds dozens of schools for Pakistani/ Afghanistan while understanding that the ony way to abolish terrorism is to increase education. I really liked this book because it was a very different and realistic novel from what I have read. It lets you know what's going on right now in the world- the big fight about terrorism. This novel shows you the uniqueness of different cultural backgrounds and also that not everyone is to be blamed for the atrocities of a particular sect such as what's happening in pakistan. If you really like humanitarian novels then this is for you and even if you don't you soon will.

Title: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer Rating: 5
    [SPOILER ALERT!]
I would rate twilight a 5. This is because it is a heart warming, thrilling, love story, about a girl named Bella Swan. Who is just a human. Bella falls in love with, a vampire, Edward Cullen. When Bella finds out Edward is a vampire. Bella, Edward, and Edward's family run into three not so friendly vampires. Who want to kill Bella. At the end when the three vampires find Bella, Edward saves Bella. This is way I would rate twilight a 5.

    Title: Blue Moon
    Author: Alyson Noel
    Rating: 5
I liked this book better than the 1st but then again series always get better. In this book the romance between Ever and Damen gets tested by Roman the new guy at their school. Every thing was fine until he came along. Things start to get weird especially Damen. It mad be mad and sad to read how Damen acting and treating Ever. But some how in the end love beats all but still ends up with a price. It was an awsome book and cant wait to start the next.

  9. Title: The Hunger Games
    Author: Suzanne Collins
    Rating: 5
Adventure, romance, and action- this book had it all. The adventure and action parts were the most interesting, because they were so descriptive. I couldn't stop reading them. The book was not that similar to real life, but I made so many connections to so many events in the story. The Hunger Games reminded me faintly of the Ancient Romans as they fought in Colosseum for their lives.

    Rating: 4
I gave it a 4 because I love the Twilight series and Stephenie Meyer but this book was just okay. It was an exciting beggining and a very exciting middle but, the end was rather slow for me. I would still reccommend it to the teens out there who like the Twilights!

    Title: Tuesdays With Morrie
    Author: Mitch Albom
    Rating: 4
I had given the book, Tuesdays With Morrie, a rating of four out of five because I liked how it was about a second chance to discover life through a dead friend.I also loved how this was about an old man, a young man, and life's greatest lesson because it teaches you something great in life that you should also stick to. The book to me,was a chance to see what is going on with a certain person, their difficulties, and their achievements in the world and how they responded to the miracles that they have overcome. That is why I gave the book, that certain rating and what I thought of the book. seventh grader Adriana1197

    Title: Diva
    Author: Alex Flinn
    Rating:3
I gave it a three because it was in between boring and somewhat good. Also it was intresting burt it was just not my style. It was more of a person who singes and would understand the book more than I did. Another reason why I rated it a three was because the main character was described like she was self centered but she wasnt her friends and her ex-boyfriend were the ones that were self-centered and selfish.

    Title: Wicked Lovely
    Author: Melissa Marr
    Rating: 5
At first, the main character Aislinn, is terrified of her "gift" that lets her see fairies. these fairies are different than the fairies in fairiy tales though, these fairies are hidious and they do awful things to us mortals. But they didn't know that Aislinn could see them, they thought when they messed with her, it was as normal as messing with someone that didn't have the "sight". Aislinn almost always looked to her best friend, Seth for protection when seeing then became to much. Now, almost all fairies can go into our building, unless they're religious, or made out of steel. Steel is poisoness to them and Seths house is an old train that is no longer in use. His parants bought it for him and he renavated it to his likings. Aislinn always had a little crush on Seth, but he normally didn't date, he was what was considered a "one night stand" and as sure as Aislinn was that she liked him and he liked her back, she wasn't ready to ruin their friendship for what she called a "fling". But one night, Aislinn was walking to Seths when she noticed, she was being followed by something, not human. She was being followed by 2 fairies and one wolf. when one of the fairies put on a "glamour" which makes him visible to humans, Aislinn knew she was in trouble but all she did was tell herself not to run....but to act like she wasn't interested and fast walk out of the door. Before she was out the girl fairy sitting on the wolf whispered "Run while you can.", making Aislinn wonder if she knew that she could see her. Later in the story, Aislinn talks to the fairy that approched her because she was tired of being "stalked" by him. His name was Keenan and she later finds out that he is the "Summer King" and he somehow convinces her to pick up the winter staff and become his summer queen. If the staff did not fill her with "the chill" when she picked it up, it ment she was truely the "one" Keenan had waited for. The only thing standing in their way was the winter queen, or Keenans mother. This book keeps you hooked to it as it drags you through the terrifying feelings you feel when Aislinn feels scared, the romance in Seths and Aislinns relationship, and the pain in letting one, Either Seth or Keenan, go.

    Rating: 4
This book was wonderful. It really relates to the outside world and tells what really happens. This book shows that there are bad people in the world and that not everything is perfect. I really like this book, because it's not a cliché. Most books begin with a bland beginning, and then the storyline begins to grow more arousing. Before you know it, everything becomes all happy until this one little truth ruins it all. Then at the end of the story, someone apologizes and everything goes back to being happy. This book is nothing like that. Whenever I read the book, it always reminds me of a stormy day even if it's really sunny. That's what I really like about the book.

The love between Ever and Damen also kept continuing but this time there was some restrictions and a new character was presented to the story. Jude was a nice addition and the fact that he was also part of Ever' s past made more thriling. The little details that it had made it complete and it left me very anxious to read the next book.

I can't believe how exciting this book was. It was suprising to find out that one of Nancy's friends, Professor Bagley was a spy who along with another of Nancy's friends, Eric Nagy was trying to help ten orphaned kids cross the Austrian border and reunite them with their families. They were so brave to risk their lives to help the kids. Not only did Nancy help the kids, but she also helped a famous, Austrian film director, Kurt Kessler get his lifeworks film back. Though what I can't believe was that one of the enemies was an old friend of Mr. Kessler's, and that Eric who been in wheelchair for months could walk and only faked being handicapped so none of their enemies would think of him as a threat.

I gave this book a rating of 4 becuase this is a totally good book. If you really like historical stuff and if you don't like nonfiction then this is for you. This book is both historical and fiction without all those brainy ancient facts. What really surprised me in this book was that Thomas Jefferson kept slaves on his plantation. The main character Harriet Hemmings believed to be the illegitimate daughter of Jefferson faces the truth of whether to leavebehind her good life as a slave or to escape to freedom. This truly is a good book.

I feel sorry that one of Nancy's friends, Helen Nicholas' cousin, Costatine Nicholas was involved with art smugglers, but Im happy he didn't do much for them and won'y have to stay in jail for long. I also can't believe they threatened his girlfriend, Stella to work for them. Another thing is how could they steal money from Mrs. Thompson who was sending it the poor, Papadapoulos family, and from Constatine's inheritance given to him by his uncle. Luckily there was still some money left of his inheritance, and Mrs. Papadapoulos agreed to sew a lot things which Mrs. Thompson and Helen will sell in America. I loved how Helen named her new inherited yacht Nancy Drew.

It's amazing how Nancy started by writing the end to a mystery for a contest and started working on the actual mystery. Though Nancy and her friends weren't really in danger. After all the bad guys never hurt them even though they tried, but one of them did gag Bess, tie her up, and put her in a closet. I'm happy they were able to find the lost fortune, and Mr. Drew was able to find the rightful owner. Iwas really nice of him to let them each have something of the treasure. Also I;m happy Nancy won the contest so she could give the cash prize to a charity like she planned to do with the money if she won.

I guess it was okay. There were a couple ofpeople pretending to bo other people which made it kind of hard for Nancy and her friends to know who was who.Like how the reporter Ted Henri, top fashion model, Jacqueline Henri's brother was pretending to be another reporter. Though I don't think Ted should've sent Nancy and her friends on a wild goose chase, but who knew they would find another mystery there. Ted should have find some info on Nancy that way he would've known that she wasn't working with the bad guys like he suspected. im happy that they were able to stop the bad guys and was able to help Mr. Reese prove that people were stealing his designs and claiming them as their own. It's too bad they weren't able to save his dresses from the fire. but at least Nancy, Bess, George, and Rosalind were able to get out of the fire safely.

But anyway, this book was a another one of the love and mystery books that I love. i started reading it and it just kept getting better and better. [SPOILER ALERT]
I gave the above rating because I truley loved the book. It looked like a clever plot and twist, how two people can love each after one nearly killed the other in a hit-and-run. In the book, the guy's named Caleb and the girl's named Maggie. Because of the accident Celeb had to go a year to juvenile corrections facility, which caused him to be seen as a serious felen by a lot of the parents, schoolmates, and others living in Paradise when he came back. Maggie went from a popular tennis player (the only sophmore on the varsity team), to a girl with no friends and can't even walk without a limp. She had to undergo a year of painful surgeries and be taught to walk all over again by physical therapists. Maggie was very upset when she heard Caleb was let out of the juvenile corrections facility. She wanted to be as far apart of him and paradise as she could but the only way she could was to work a job at the same place as him, something she certainly didn’t want to do... at the time.

I gave this book the highest rating possible because I loved the book for many reasons. One of the reasons this was one of the greatest books I've ever read was because I liked how the author switched the point of view from the two main characters, Brittany Ellis and Alejandro “Alex” Fuentes, in each chapter. The author shows both sides of the characters’ stories, through their different personalities and how they each see the world. The two characters are from two totally separate words. Alex is poor, Latino, and in a gang. He is smart and will be the first one to graduate high school in his family, but because of who he is, no one expects him to go to college. Brittany is from a rich family and trying to keep a “perfect” image at school and at home. She is captain of the cheerleading squad and dating a football player. Although, her life isn’t as perfect as everyone thinks. Her older sister a disability and her mom is mean and wants Brittany to be perfect because her sister can’t. The two (Brittany and Alex) would have never have met, if they were not paired up in chemistry class. Slowly the two begin to like the other more, and discover how similar the two of them really are.

    Author: Kate Brian
    Rating: 5
Megan Meade a Junior in High School had been traveling and moving all around the world ever since she was young due to her parents being Army doctors. Now they were older. Megan decides to stay and take ahold of the challenge. When she is there she makes a Guide of the McGowan boys which she plans to give a copy to her BFF Tracy whom she left in north Forthood. Megan will have to go to a new school, live with a new family and get used to living with 7 boys. Megan has a lot on her plate but when she discovers she has a crush on one of the McGowan boys things start to change. What happens to Megan?? Does she survive living with the McGowan boys?? Title: Battles of the Clans
    Author: Erin Hunter
    Rating: 4
I gave this book the rating because it had good descriptions of the battles and had many interesting events that I had never heard of in any other Warriors books. I thought this book filled a lot of the missing gaps I felt when I read other Warrior battles. This book gave the differents fighting moves and tactics of all the Clans which I found very helpful. I would reccomend this book to the readers who have read all the books in the Warrior series and if they also like the battles that take place in the novels then this special edition will help you learn many new things and you will enjoy it along the way.

  114. Actually, you get an e-mail after a few weeks saying that you have finished, then you have to go to the 3rd floor, and tell the service desk person your username, and that you have finished, and they'll give you your gift card. Hope this helped!
